For dogs with kidney disease we recommend feeding a wide variety of meats. Quality meat is highly digestible protein and is ideal to feed those with kidney problems, especially because meat is naturally high in water.

Tripe is a great source for those with kidney issues as lower in phosphate than other meats so choosing any varieties with tripe in would be good.

Adding a couple of spoonfuls to each meal could also be a good idea. Generally hydration is really important with supporting the kidneys so adding some water to meals is also something we would recommend.
