Is raw meat safe to feed dogs
Updated over a week ago

Raw is a species appropriate diet for our dogs, cats, ferrets and more.

Meat can contain low levels of some bacteria. But dogs are designed to eat meat biologically. Their digestive systems have remained unchanged being shorter than that of humans so meat, moves quickly through the body and therefore any bacteria does not get chance to take hold as it quickly passes through the digestive system.. The stomach acid in dogs is much more acidic, killing bacteria.

We are DEFRA registered and UK Pet food raw certified, both of which means our microbiological testing, hygiene, sourcing and staff training is all independently audited ensuring our food safety is up to scratch.

Feeding a natural, unprocessed, species appropriate diet is just as beneficial to dogs as it is to us humans.
